Narrow space for garden, why not?

A garden in a house will make your house looks more beautiful with its natural touch. If you want a garden exists in your house field but there is no large field in your house, do not worry about it because you still have some choices to fulfil your wish. A portable garden on empty space in your house can be a good choice. Portable garden is a garden designed where the plants is plant in pots not directly planted on the ground so you can arrange it as you want. You can make it in front, on right or left side, or at the back of your house even in your house. There are some tips which can help you to build your portable garden on the narrow space of your house.

First you need to decide the plants of your garden whether your garden will be a flower, cactus, bonsay  garden, or any other kinds of garden which use small plants. Then, gather all of plants you want. Do not be crazy to bring all plants that you like to this garden. Think about the space of the place and guess how many plants will be fit in that place. Combining any plants will be good to make it more colourful. For example: you can put flowers plants between cactus or bonsay plants. It will be good to see because your eyes will not see the same plants in a place everyday. For this portable garden, plants like orchid with many colours,cactus, or bonsay are good choice to be applied.

Second, you need to design your garden. How your garden will be look like. You can make a place to put your plants from wood. The wood can be formed like stairs. Make it not too high, just three untill four stairs or fit it to the place in order to make some space for you if you want to water those plants, besides you can put more plants. You can also hang up some plants in the wall or make a place to hang your plants up. If you choose orchids, you can patch those plants on the wall by using something which is called edible fern. Try to arrange your plants by the size of the plants. If you design your garden like stairs, put the big plants on the top of the stairs so the small plants can be seen.

In order to make your portable garden is more beautiful to see, you can use the third tips that is you can put some ornament in your garden. You may put a small lamp which produces dreary light, it will give smooth impression and it can raise a romantic feeling. The pots can also can be in some form or colours to make your garden looks more attractive. If it is bonsay garden, you can cut your bonsay leaves and form it to get a good model of bonsay.

A plant in a house will give life or nature impression to the house even it is just a plant on a table. It is better than no plant at all. A portable garden will help you to make your house looks more beauiful and lively with the green colour of leaves and many colours of flowers. Feel the touch of the nature by making a portable garden in your narrow space house. Your house can be beautiful if you follow the steps of making a portable garden.

LIFE IS NOT ALWAYS BEAUTIFUL

I have a best friend. She always tells me everything which happens with her. One day, she told me something bad. This case made her really frustrated until she could not think anything. She just cried when told me about her case. Her boyfriend had another girl as his girlfriend. Life is not always filled by beautiful things, sometimes bad things will greet us to make us stronger than before.

We were at downtown that Saturday night. She called me and told me to meet her at 6 p.m there. I wondered why she wanted to meet me. I arrived at downtown about 5.50 p.m and I saw her sitting on the bench. She ordered me to buy two soft drinks. I bought two soft drinks for us. I asked her why she suddenly wanted to meet me. She took a deep breathe and exhale it slowly, then she began to tell me the case. Her boyfriend was changing. He did not communicate with her as much as he did before. When she called him, he picked the phone up but did not talk too much. He did not reply her message as quick as he did before. She was curious. She wondered why her boyfriend was suddenly changing. Was he busy with his task? Or did he avoid her? She did not know why and she decided to visit his boyfriend. She did not told her boyfriend that she would visit him. When she arrived in her boyfriend’s lodging house, she waited for hours until he came back from his activities. Her boyfriend looked very shock when he saw her. He could not speak anything. He let her came in to his lodging house. When he went to take a bath, his cellphone was ringing. She picked it up and then listen to someone who spoke through the cellphone. A girl was speaking there, and the girl called her “honey”, the girl thought that was her boyfriend. She said “hello” to the girl, and the connection was canceled. From that, she looked at her boyfriend message. She found out something bad. Her boyfriend had another girlfriend. He was dishonest. She was angry. She cried when she saw her boyfriend and went back to her house without saying anything to her boyfriend.

After told me that story she asked me what she should do to face this case. Her eyes was turn red and tears fell from her eyes. I embraced her, and tried to make her calm. I told her that was good for her to know about what her boyfriend had done to her early. I told her that she just needed to be strong to ask her boyfriend whether he wanted to choose her or that other girl. She bowed her head.

“ You are too good to be hurt by someone like him, and your tears to be pity to fall just because of a boy like him. He would never find any girls who love him like you. He would choose you” I said to her, to make her calm and she stop to cry. I could not believe myself saying some sentences like that. I was happy if those sentences could make her stop to cry.

A couple of days she send me a message that she broke up with her boyfriend. Her boyfriend chose the other girl than her. I knew she cried over there. In her messages she said that the three of them met in a place then talking about their relationship. She asked her boyfriend whether he wanted to be with her or that girl. He asked the other girl whether she still wanted to accept him or not. The other girl just bowed her head. My best friend cried and she wanted to hit her boyfriend and the other girl but she did not do it. I felt like that was my fault. I told her to asked her boyfriend and then the result was like this. I asked her the reason why her boyfriend was dishonest to her. She said that because of her boyfriend felt lonely. They could not met often because the place where her boyfriend studied was far from where my best friend continued her study.

She thanked me because I told her to asked her boyfriend. Her life would never end here just because of a boy. She realized that sometimes a good thing can change in to a bad thing. We will not feel just those good things but also those bad things. From her experience I learn that life is not just filled by beautiful things but bad things will always walk together which we should face it and find how can we face those beautiful and bad things in life.

Misguided Girls

              If you want to visit a place, the important knowledge that you need is the direction.If you do not know the direction to the place, you may cancel your travel there. I remember when I wanted to visit a beach with my best friends. One of three of them said that she knew the direction, but actually she does not knew where we are. Direction is the important knowledge when you want to go to some places, but its seems not really important for my friend and I because sometimes we need to take a new way to go to a new place.

I was in Denpasar at that time. I visited my cousin. She is my cousin and one of my best friend. Her name is Ulan. In the same time, I called my others best friends. They are Ari and Anik. We met at Ulan’s lodging house. We made a promise to visit Dream Land Beach. Ari said that she knew the direction to the place. She made us believe her because she said that she had ever gone to the place twice.

She rode her motorbike while Ulan sat on the back. I followed them with Anik sitting on the back. We did not have any feeling that she actually did not know the way. We went through a small road with empty area on the left and right side of the road. At that time the weather was hot and we did not arrive yet. I had a strange feeling with this situation and I asked Ari.

“ Do you really know the direction to Dreamland?” I asked  her when my motorbike and hers were in a row.

“ Yes. I did.” She was very confident to say that she knew the way.

Because of her confidence I felt a bit calm. After five minutes from I asked her the direction, she slowed down her motorbike speed. We were in a row again. She said that actually she did not know the direction. She just followed the taxi which was driven in front of us. We were very shocked. Anik was afraid and she told us to go back because she did not want to be a lost person and could not meet her parents again. She was very hyperbolic person. At that time she was panic. We discussed about this in the side road. We would go back and do nothing or we continued the travel and found a new place to visit. When we discussed, some foreigners came from the opposite way. Foreigners came to Bali to visit some beautiful places. If they came from our opposite way, it meant that there was a beautiful place there. We ended our discussion with the conclusion and chose to continued our travel.

Fifteen minutes later, we found some restaurants and villas. We were very happy when we arrived at the end of the road. We found a place which was called Balangan Beach. This beach was not so famous as Kuta Beach, Dreamland, Jimbaran, or other else, but the view in that place was not too bad. We walked down to the beach and shocked by the situation. Did we still in Bali? The people in that place were all foreigners except the seller. We were the only domestic visitors there. To remember that place and our lost direction journey; we took some pictures in that place. We were having fun there, enjoying the situation, taking a lot of pictures, and finding a new place to visit when we met again in Denpasar.

Misguided is not very big thing to worry about, sometimes you need to be misguided to make your journey is more fun. Do not forget to ask a native person if you really lost the direction. My best friends and I lost the direction but we know a beautiful place. Those picture that we took there are our souvenirs to make us remember that we have ever gone to that place. That was our great lost.
